Arm Lift

After excessive weight loss many individuals complain of excess skin and subcutaneous tissue around their arms. Some individuals refer to their excess arm tissue as “bat wings.” This saggy tissue around the arms may interfere with arm movement, make wearing clothing difficult and result in hygiene problems. An arm lift or brachioplasty is a surgical procedure designed to reduce excess skin and subcutaneous tissue from around the arms. The incision is placed on the inner arm fold and extends into the arm pit.
